My name is Snera Riley, but on the mic I’m “Chi.”
I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with my bachelor’s in Journalism while specializing in English, Native American studies, and economics.
My background is in radio, my academic education is in television news, and my passion is in community.
I’ve interviewed celebrities like Karmin, Nelly, AND Gym Class Heroes! I was the Republican political correspondent for my college news station during the 2012 elections. I’ve stayed up all night emceeing American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and hosted Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Reception and Walk for the past three years.
What can I do for you? The greatest thing I can offer you is my personality. I’m not afraid to do the unusual. I’ve encountered some interesting challenges and willing to do almost all of them. (Except clowns. I’m scared of clowns. I don’t do clowns) I’ve dressed up like a lion to help raise money for the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, helped grant a Make-a-Wish, volunteered at the Special Olympics, and spent hours making a bra to be auctioned off to raise money for breast cancer research. Those are only a few of the things I’ve done. I can’t wait to see what else the future has in store.
Outside of my personality, what skills can I offer you? I can write copy, shoot and edit video, image, voice and have basic skills in website design. I’m driven by the entertainment in everyday life while enthralled with celebrity gossip.
